Chrenko Represents On The Susky!

While the majority of the kayak fishing community in the Hoosier State had it's eyes on the 2023 GRBY Championship, a few Indiana anglers took on the Susky and one came home with a blue trophy!

Josh Chrenko is now a Champion as he just hoisted the Blue Trophy at the final stop of the 2023 Bassmaster Kayak Series on the Susquehanna River!

This is Josh's first National Series win and he did it in a big way! Josh led the 146 angler field in both days of competition, with 96.25 inches on day one and 97.75 inches on day two, for a total of 194 inches!

The Annual HKB TURKEY BOWL & FOOD DRIVE is just around the corner! Grab your fishing buddies and join us for one last hoo-rah before you put away the kayak for winter and help us support Hoosier families in need during the Holiday Season.

Josh had a bag full of big smallies each day, but his overall total was anchored by this 20.50 trophy Sucky Smallmouth Bass on day two. The smallest fish in his two-day total was 18.50.

Josh not only got the victory, but he beat out some of the best kayak anglers in the world representing the Hoosier State and the Achigan Brand along the way. He will now have the opportunity to represent once again but this time, it will be on the biggest stage in the sport. On top of his $8,500 prize, Josh has now punched his ticket to the 2024 Yamaha Rightwaters Bassmaster Kayak Series Championship powered by TourneyX!!
